【摘要】:Thesetestmethodscoverthedeterminationoforganicchloride(above1?g/gorganically-boundchlorine)incrudeoils,usingeitherdistillationandsodiumbiphenylreductionordistillationandmicrocoulometry.Thesetestmethodsinvolvethedistillationofcrudeoiltestspecimenstoobtainanaphthafractionpriortochloridedetermination.Thechloridecontentofthenaphthafractionofthewholecrudeoilcantherebybeobtained.SeeSection5regardingpotentialinterferences.TestMethodAcoversthedeterminationoforganicchlorideinthewashednaphthafractionofcrudeoilbysodiumbiphenylreductionfollowedbypotentiometrictitration.TestMethodBcoversthedeterminationoforganicchlorideinthewashednaphthafractionofcrudeoilbyoxidativecombustionfollowedbymicrocoulometrictitration.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.Thepreferredconcentrationunitsaremicrogramsofchloridepergramofsample.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
