【摘要】:1Thispracticecoversproceduresfortheuseofthermolu-minescencedosimeters(TLDs)todeterminetheabsorbeddoseinmaterialsirradiatedbyphotonsorelectronsintermsofabsorbeddosetowater.2Thispracticecoverssystemsthatpermitabsorbeddosemeasurementsunderthefollowingconditions:2.1Theabsorbed-doserangeisfrom1Gyto100kGy.2.2Theabsorbed-doserateisbetween1×10and1×10Gys.2.3Theradiation-energyrangeforphotonsandelectronsisfrom0.1to50MeV.3Absorbeddoseandabsorbed-doseratemeasurementsinmaterialssubjectedtoneutronirradiationarenotcoveredinthispractice.4ProceduresfortheuseofTLDsfordeterminingab-sorbeddoseinradiation-hardnesstestingofelectronicdevicesaregiveninASTMPracticeE668.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappro-priatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplica-bilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
