【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesthecharacteristicsofaseriesofrelated130mmopticaldiskcartridges(ODCs)byusinganumberofTypedesignations.Adiskhastwosides,calledSideAandSideB.Eachsidecanhaveanominalcapacityof2,6Gbytes.TypeR/Wprovidesfordatatobewritten,readanderasedmanytimesovertherecordingsurfaceofthecorrespondingdiskside,usingthethermo-magneticandmagneto-opticaleffects.TypeP-ROMprovidesforapartofthedisksurfacetobepre-recordedandreproducedbystampingorothermeans.Thispartofthediskisreadwithoutrecoursetothemagneto-opticaleffect.Allpartswhicharenotpre-recordedprovidefordatatomeettherequirementsofTypeR/W.TypeO-ROMprovidesforthewholeofthedisksurfacetobepre-recordedandreproducedbystampingorothermeans.Thecorrespondingdisksidesarereadwithoutrecoursetothemagneto-opticaleffect.TypeDOWprovidesfordatatobewrittenandreadmanytimesovertherecordingsurfaceofthecorrespondingdiskside,usingthedirectoverwritethermo-magneticandmagneto-opticaleffectsrequiringasingleexternalmagneticfield.TypeP-DOWprovidesforapartofthedisksurfacetobepre-recordedandreproducedbystampingorothermeans.Thispartofthediskisreadwithoutrecoursetothemagneto-opticaleffect.Allpartswhicharenotpre-recordedprovidefordatatomeettherequirementsofTypeDOW.TypeWOprovideswriteonce,readmultiplefunctionalityusingthethermo-magneticandmagneto-opticaleffects.TypeWO-DOWprovideswriteonce,readmultiplefunctionalityusingthedirectoverwritethermo-magneticandmagneto-opticaleffects.Inaddition,foreachType,thisInternationalStandardprovidesforcartridgescontainingadiskwithasectorsizeof512bytes,cartridgescontainingadiskwithasectorsizeof1024bytesandcartridgescontainingadiskwithasectorsizeof2048bytes.Allsectorsofadiskarethesamesize.ThisInternationalStandardspecifies-theconditionsforconformancetestingandtheReferenceDrive;-theenvironmentsinwhichthecartridgesaretobeoperatedandstored;-themechanical,physicalanddimensionalcharacteristicsofthecartridge,soastoprovidemechanicalinterchangeabilitybetweendataprocessingsystems;-theformatoftheinformationonthedisk,bothembossedanduser-written,includingthephysicaldispositionofthetracksandsectors,theerrorcorrectioncodes,themodulationmethodsused;-thecharacteristicsoftheembossedinformationonthedisk;-themagneto-opticalcharacteristicsofthedisk,enablingprocessingsystemstowritedataontothedisk;-theminimumqualityofuser-writtendataonthedisk,enablingdataprocessingsystemstoreaddatafromthedisk.ThisInternationalStandardprovidesforinterchangebetweenopticaldiskdrives.TogetherwithaStandardforvolumeandfilestructureitprovidesforfulldatainterchangebetweendataprocessingsystems.
