【摘要】:Thistestmethodensuresthatbeforetheflashtestisruntheair/vaporspaceabovethespecimenhasattainedasaturationconcentrationofvaporbyusingstandardclosedcupsunderequilibriumconditions.Thesaturationconcentrationofthevaporswillbeattainedatsometemperaturebetweenthatoftheliquidandthecoolerapparatuslid.However,thistemperaturewillbeclosetothetemperatureofthespecimenafterithasbeenmaintainedatthespecifiedtemperatureforatleasta10-minperiod.Thistestmethoddoesnotprovideforthedeterminationoftheactualflashpointbutonlywhetheraspecimendoesordoesnotflashataspecifiedtemperature.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofwhetheraliquidcomplieswiththeclosed-cupflashpointrequirementsingovernmentregulations,orinspecifications,orasagreedbetweenthepurchaserandtheseller.1.2Thistestmethodislimitedtoatemperaturerangebetween0and110176;C(32and230176;F).1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.4Thisstandardshouldbeusedtomeasureanddescribethepropertiesofmaterials,products,orassembliesinresponsetoheatandflameundercontrolledlaboratoryconditionsandshouldnotbeusedtodescribeorappraisethefirehazardorfireriskofmaterials,products,orassembliesunderactualfireconditions.However,resultsofthistestmaybeusedaselementsofafireriskassessmentwhichtakesintoaccountallofthefactorswhicharepertinenttoanassessmentofthefirehazardofaparticularenduseThisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
