【摘要】:ProvidesuserprogramswithameanstoaccesstheFieldbuscommunicationenvironment.Inthisrespect,theFieldbusApplicationLayer(FAL)canbeviewedasa"windowbetweencorrespondingapplicationsprograms".TheFALisanApplicationsLayerCommunicationStandarddesignedtosupportconveyanceoftime-criticalandnon-time-criticalapplicationsrequestsandresponsesamongdevicesinanautomationenvironment.Theterm,time-critical,isusedtorepresentthepresenceofanapplicationtime-window,withinwhichoneormorespecifiedactionsarerequiredtobecompletedwithsomedefinedlevelofcertainty.Thispart,theFALServiceDefinition,specifiesinteeractionsbeteweenremoteapplicationsintermsof:(a)Anabstractmodelfordefiningapplicationresources(objects)capableofbeingmanipulatedbyusersviatheuseofFALServices;(b)Theprimitives(interactionsbetweentheFALandtheFALuser)associatedwitheachFALServices;(c)Theparametersassociatedwitheachprimitive;(d)Theinterrelationshipbetween,andthevaildsquencesoftheprimitivesforeachservice.Thebehavioralaspectsoftheapplicationsarenotspecified;onlyadefinitionofwhatrequestsandresponsescanbesent/recievedisspecified.ThispermitsgreaterflexibilitytotheFALusersinstandardizingsuchobjectbehavior.Inadditiontotheseservices,somesupportingservicesarealsodefinedinthisspecificationtocontrolcertainaspectsofitsoperation.
