【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardisanApplicationLayerstandardwithintheOpenSystemsInterconnectionframeworkdefinedbyISO7498.ThisstandarddefinestheservicesforInterlibraryLoan.TheseservicesareprovidedbytheuseoftheILLprotocolinconjunctionwiththesupportingtelecommunicationsservicewhichmaybeastore-and-forwardmessagingservice,suchasthatprovidedbytheMOTISStandards,ISO10021-4etc.;oradirectconnection-modeserviceusingISO8822andISO8649.Thisstandarddoesnotspecifyindividualimplementationsorproducts,nordoesitconstraintheimplementationofentitiesandinterfaceswithinacomputersystem.Computersystemsmayrangefromstand-aloneworkstationstomainframes.Thisstandardisintendedforusebylibraries,informationutilitiessuchasunioncataloguecentres,andanyothersystemwhichprocessesbibliographicinformation.Thesesystemsmayparticipateinaninterlibraryloantransactionintheroleofrequester(i.e.aninitiatorofILLrequests),responder(i.e.aproviderofbibliographicmaterialorinformation)and/orintermediary(i.e.anagentthatactsonbehalfofarequestertofindsuitableresponders).Variousinterworkingtopologiesaresupported,rangingfromsimpletwo-partyinteractionstomulti-partyinteractions.Thereisnorequirementforconformancetothisstandard.ConformanceisrequiredonlyfortheILLprotocolspecification.
